Designed in alignment with Common Core standards, Grow Grammar targets elementary and middle school students, offering a modern take on the traditional subject of grammar. Grow Grammar serves effectively in both classroom settings and home environments, making it suitable for situations where iPads may be shared. Its versatility allows it to support both individual learning and group activities.

The app encompasses two distinct modes: “create” and “challenge.” In “create” mode, students construct their own sentences using an engaging, grammar-based tree structure. Conversely, “challenge” mode encourages students to analyze sentence structures by correctly identifying the various parts of speech, such as articles, nouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions.

Grow Grammar features four progressive levels, each designed to increase in complexity. As students advance through the levels, they encounter more sophisticated grammatical structures and vocabulary:

 <li>Level 1: Focuses on building sentences with articles, nouns, pronouns, and present tense verbs.</li>
 <li>Level 2: Introduces adjectives, direct objects, and past and future verb tenses to expand sentence structures.</li>
 <li>Level 3: Incorporates prepositional phrases into noun and verb phrases.</li>
 <li>Level 4: Challenges students to create sentences that use adverbs and progressive verb tenses.</li>
</ol>

The app motivates students by providing opportunities to progress through levels while expressing themselves creatively within their peer groups. With access to a rich vocabulary, learners can effectively enhance their grammar skills while enjoying the process.
